Given the lower accuracy in the OCD group, would you consider the lower confidence to still be metacognitively accurate, in that it reflects their lower performance?
Abhay Koushik
01:31:05
Yes, so cognition is still okay but the metacognition is hampered, right?
Tilman Stephani
01:33:15
=========Please post your questions for Leonardo Pimpini below:
Metehan IRAK
01:38:48
Confidence is about the evaluation of the success of recall or recognition. However, metacognitive accuracy (calculated with Gamma correlation) is about consistency between metacognitive judgments (between 1-6) and success of recall or recognition (correct or incorrect).
Christoph Bamberg (UoA NZ)
01:43:28
What do you think would happen if participants got to taste the stimuli, so using a gustatory presentation? Do you think participants would focus more on the hedonic aspects?
Samyogita Hardikar
01:46:54
Thanks for the great talk! Previous obesity literature has also focused on reward activity in the striatum. Could you say a bit more why this wasn't included in your hypothesized ROIs, and also the results?
Yanyao
01:47:23
Did you by any chance check if healthy controls in your study had history of binge eating disorders or other eating disorders?
Lorenzo Pia
01:48:57
Is the idea of mindset similar (or the same) as the classical concept of priming, in a very broad sense?. If it is so might it be something more related to imlicit attitudes rather than focusing conscious attention.
Abhay Koushik
01:49:52
Thanks for the talk!Do you ask the participants to give subjective calorific value? Also, do you also check whether participants consider some food as 'healthy' or not? Apart from calorific and palatable contents
Abhay Koushik

Thank you! As an autistic woman and researcher I love this approach! Have you compared your ideas to frameworks based on predictive processing and sensory niche construction e.g. as proposed by Axel Constant?

In response to Alice: Thank you for your comment Alice, we have compared with predictive processing but we actually think that neurodivergent comes as an example of how this model has limitations, because it expects “normal processing” and doesn’t give explanations to different stimulations… we are writing something about this. Thank you very much for the reference and your commentary!
Alice Laciny
